Vacancy for an Admin Assistant at Kingsbridge Community Primary School

Part-time (20 hours per week) Permanent Position


We are seeking to appoint an Admin Assistant to provide administrative and receptionist support to our School Administrators in the busy Kingsbridge School office. We are looking for a friendly and organised candidate who is able to demonstrate good administrative skills and who is looking for a varied and interesting role.  


Hours are 9.00 am – 1.00 pm Monday - Friday (20 hours per week).  Salary is NJC Grade B (£9.60 - £9.79 per hour).  38 weeks per year.

You will need to:

  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills; a confident telephone manner is vital
  • Be able to quickly respond to changing priorities with a flexible working approach
  • Possess good administrative and organisational skills to undertake a full range of administrative duties
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
  • Prioritise your workload and work to deadlines
  • Have a sense of humour!

Experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
