School Administrator Vacancy

A vacancy has arisen within the South Hams Federation for an additional School Administrator based at Kingsbridge Community Primary School.

The ideal candidate will need to have:

  • Cheerful disposition
  • excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • excellent IT skills
  • strong interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • good organisational skills and be able to multi-task


They should also be:

  • patient, calm and tactful
  • able to use their initiative and to prioritise their workload and work to tight deadlines
  • accurate in their work
  • a team player and able to work alone
  • confident handling cash and working with numbers
  • able to work efficiently


The post is for 32.5 hours per week Monday – Friday (9.00 am to 4.00 pm), 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 non pupil days).   Starting date is Monday, 7th January 2019.

The salary ranges from £8.90 per hour to £9.68; the full time equivalent salary would be £17,173 pa - £18,672 pa.
